How Cashmere works

Tretinoin encourages cell turnover and collagen production. GHK-Cu promotes skin repair and elasticity. Niacinamide supports barrier function and a more even tone. Caffeine assists circulation and temporary firming. Together these actives help improve the appearance of sagging, crepey skin and support a smoother, more radiant complexion.

How Stella+ works

Estriol (0.3%) binds estrogen receptors in dermal fibroblasts — the cells that produce collagen and elastin — restoring signaling that falls after menopause, with minimal systemic exposure. GHK-Cu (3%) is a copper-peptide complex naturally found in human plasma; levels drop from ~200 ng/mL at age 20 to ~80 ng/mL by 60. Applied topically, it activates fibroblasts to produce collagen, elastin, and glycosaminoglycans while balancing the enzymes that break collagen down. Tretinoin (0.01%) — the gentlest prescription concentration — binds retinoic acid receptors to drive cell turnover and collagen production. Niacinamide minimizes inflammation and supports the barrier through tretinoin's adjustment period.

Warnings & safety information

Both Cashmere and Stella+ are prescription compounded medications and should only be used under the direction of a licensed prescriber. Common side effects include dryness, flaking, mild peeling, redness, and increased sun sensitivity — daily broad-spectrum SPF 30+ is essential. Seek medical attention for severe redness, itching, swelling, hyperpigmentation, or signs of allergic reaction. Do not use during known or suspected pregnancy or while breastfeeding without prescriber guidance — tretinoin and estriol are contraindicated in pregnancy. Avoid layering with other retinoids, AHAs/BHAs, benzoyl peroxide, or strong astringents. Apply at night and follow with daily SPF 30+ in the morning.

FAQ — Cashmere

How often should I apply Cashmere? Topically to the affected area(s) one time daily, or as directed by your prescriber. Is Cashmere a prescription product? Yes — a compounded prescription topical dispensed only after a prescriber determines it is appropriate for you. Can I use Cashmere with other skincare? Avoid layering with additional retinoid or strong exfoliating products without your prescriber's guidance, as they can compound irritation.

FAQ — Stella+

Best time of day to apply? Always at night — tretinoin is light-sensitive and is typically better tolerated while you sleep. How can I minimize side effects? Niacinamide aids tolerability, nighttime application helps, and your prescriber may have you titrate (start less frequently and increase as tolerated). What makes Stella+ different from regular skincare? Three prescription-strength actives that work at the cellular level on the root causes of hormonal skin aging. Who is Stella+ intended for? Primarily peri- and post-menopausal women showing hormonal aging — thinning, dryness, sagging, fine lines, uneven tone — and adults with significant photodamage or premature aging, under prescriber assessment. Can it be used on the neck and chest? Yes, as directed — these areas have estrogen receptors. Start every-other-night because skin here is thinner. Is this hormone therapy? It contains 0.3% estriol designed for localized facial use; studies at this concentration have not shown meaningful increases in systemic estrogen, but disclose it to all your providers. Is 0.01% tretinoin strong enough? On its own it can be modest, but combined with estriol and GHK-Cu the effect is meaningfully greater — and 0.01% is far better tolerated for long-term use.
